Photography with a compact

My old compact camera was good for repair, as nasty dust particle had decided to niche itself somewhere  in the lens, so thank you warranty ^^ it was replaced with a Panasonic DMC SZ3 ( but preferred the DMC F something version) as I don't know why the colour are kind off washed out with this one (T_T)?!
